Palm-based tablet devices WebOS version 3.0 was finally officially announced the name Hp Touchpad. WebOS tablet has a 9.7 inch screen, 1.3 megapixel camera front, and comes in 16 or 32GB models. Touchpad walk on Snapdragon processor 1.2GHz processor and has a screen resolution of 1024 × 768ppx. HP also includes Beats Audio technology with internal stereo speakers.
The touchpad was designed by “hundreds of talented programmers” in team WebOS and Touchpad is the second tablet from HP, the first is the HP Slate 500. The touchpad is a baby Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein. WebOS suffered a massive decline in Palm’s when the company sold nine months ago and all the hard work of the Palm team seemed in vain. However, the touchpad shows a new direction for the company Palm where “card” WebOS unique interface seems very suitable for the form factor of the tablet.
Touchpad Palm device supports multi-tasking and Flash. The touchpad comes with Quickoffice and supports Google Docs, Dropbox and Box.net for file storage cloud as well as support for HP Wireless Printer. Touchpad Tablet can also use Skype for video calls.
Size of the TouchPad is almost exactly the same size as the iPad today, as a comparison. HP tablet device it will run all the standard PIM applications WebOS includes an excellent mail application from the Palm. The touchpad also supports Flash so that all your favorite web sites (using Flash) will work seamlessly.
