Panasonic Lumix FZ150 Superzoom
Introduced simultaneously with Lumix DMC-FX90, Panasonic also announced the presence of new FZ series camera, Lumix DMC-FZ150. As we all know, Panasonic’s FZ series have superzoom features and long lens camera. However, what are the advantages of the Panasonic Lumix FZ150 Superzoom than the FZ47 series that just launched in August 2011 then?
Lumix DMC-FZ150 designed to have superior capabilities than the Lumix DMC-FZ47, although both these series have the same zoom range of up to 24x optical zoom. However, the Lumix DMC-FZ150 uses a CMOS sensor. This is the one that distinguishes it from the Lumix DMC-FZ47 which uses a CCD type sensor.
To support superzoom capacity up to 24x optical zoom, Panasonic Lumix FZ150 Superzoom equipped with wide-angel lens Leica DC Vario ELMARIT 25mm. These lenses have also been supported by Nano Surface Coating technology capable to reducing the flare effects when recording video. In order to avoid the blur photo, image stabilization feature has also been included by using the Power OIS lens-shift stabilization.
Some of the benefits of the features found on Lumix DMC-FZ150 is a 3D shooting modes and RAW photos. In addition, Lumix DMC-FZ150 also combines the latest CMOS sensor 12.1 megapixel resolution and Venus Engine. The combination of both features is claimed to deliver the light sensitivity and high speed.
