Samsung Galaxy Skin with flexible screen

Samsung has always made ??innovation to depose the dominance of the iPhone in smartphone industry. Samsung will produce a phone that is flexible with the name Samsung Galaxy Skin in 2012.

This phone are officially began designed at Hongik Univesity in South Korea in June and then developed at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada by Professor Haeseong jee and Jye YeonYaou. The designers of this phone says its development is still in the conceptual stage.

Gizmos Gadgets quoted as saying on Sunday (25/09/2011), the main advantage of Samsung Galaxy Skin is flexibility. This is the first phone that can bent and resistant to hard objects or hitting though a hammer.

Samsung has confirmed that this production of 4-inch flexible AMOLED display screen have resolution of up to 800 x 400 megapixel camera and will start to be released in the second quarter of 2012. Instead of using glass, flexible AMOLED will use substrateusing polyimide plastic. The tests have shown that it will be possible to bend to form a cylinder with one inch diameter.

Galaxy Skin also use 8MP rear camera and VGA camera in front. This smartphone will be equipped with 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. Common connectivity such as Bluetooth 3 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n also paired in order to increase the perfection of Samsung Galaxy Skin.

Experts estimate that the Galaxy Skin will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but others say that this phone willdisplay a new operating system called Android Flexy.
